  • Scientific writing and reporting - Mical Paul, Leonard Leibovici, and Marc Bonten
  • Case-control studies - Pontus Naucler, Jesús Rodríguez-Baño, and Luigia Scudeller
  • Design of randomised controlled trials - Marcella Krutova, and Henri van Werkhoven

Course Objectives
The purpose of the workshop is provide the participants with tools on how to phrase a research question; choose the appropriate design and methods to address it; avoid biases; and write an optimal report. We will focus on new developments in methods, with a special emphasis on clinical trials, and use the participants’ projects as examples.
