Course Objectives
This course aims to transport current knowledge and evidence on healthcare-associated infections and the current interventions to prevent and control HAI.
Target Audience
Infection prevention and control (IPC) aims to prevent infections occurring due to healthcare interventions or in healthcare institutions. IPC is as old as medicine but nowadays a rapidly expanding field not only due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This course aims to confer evidence, knowledge and professional experience to all professionals working in infection prevention and control and ID. The 20 minutes talks will invite 10 minutes discussion. All interested in infection prevention and control are welcome to experience new sights in HAI and their control and treatment. The course participants are invited to bring their IPC challenges in their institution which will be discussed and solved in 2 hands-on sessions.
